I got my first appt set!

I have the first of many appointments to satisfy my insurance requirements before surgery scheduled for December 29th.  My husband and I are thinking by the time Im all done with requirements, I am looking at my RNY around the time school starts in the fall!

Thanks!  Ive actually been here on and off for a long time but I got spooked away from the surgery a few years ago by seeing someones blog on here that went on for the space of over 2 years saying all she had were problems and infections and surgeries and in the end she passed away. 

Ive done more research this time and found a doc who didnt lose a single patient in all of 2008!  That makes me feel better. 

I will come back and drop another update after the appointment!

Welcome!  If you're looking for some support come to the coffee group that meets in your area on Saturdays.  Tomorrow we will be at Panera attached to the Burnsville Center at 8:30.  I started going to the coffee group a few months before my surgery and it was SO helpful!  Great group of people who have been so successful with their new "tools" and full of information and support.  I'll be there tomorrow and would love to meet you.

I would love to do coffee on Sat mornings but I cant.  Hubby works graveyard shift on the weekends and I am here with the kids while he gets his sleep
