Update on Kevin

Poor Kevin is having a rough go of it.  Since they took the catheter out he's been bleeding (sorry tmi)   and he had a fever last night.   His IV blew in his hand..........The pain level is pretty high since he had lap AND open, but he's up and moving around and showered today.

But on the positive side, no foamies, getting liquids down etc.  He sounds a bit blah, but I promised him he'd feel so much better by this time next week.

They will be releasing him tomorrow, which he is happy about.  He thanks all of you for the well wishes that I read over the phone to him.  I'm sure the next update will come from him.

Thanks from me for all of the words of encouragement.  I will tuck them into my brain to be taken to the hospital with me.

WOWZERS!!!!!!!!!!!!  Tell him CONGRATS to the losers bench and to HANG on it will get better..............

I hope it keeps getting easier for him.  Continue to tell him we give him our best.

 I told him to knock it off, no one will feel sorry for me when it's my turn!  

Have you seen the Gap commercial with the little girls dancing and singing?  Well when they were putting on his Pnuemo Boots, Kevin was singing "How cute are these boots" like they do on the commercial.  It was funny!  So I had THAT stuck in my head all day while waiting for him to get out of surgery!

Thanks for posting an update on Kevin.  Please let him know we're all thinking of him and I'm saying prayers that he's pain free soon.  I'm sure he's anxious to get out of the hospital!

Thanks so much for the update!  I'm sure it will be nice to get home to recover tomorrow.  I wish him a speedy recovery & less pain soon.  He's being such a trooper through all of this!!
