The Frozen Gonad Society Lives!!
Last year I suggested that we post-ops start a frozen gonad society in recognition of just how cold we get. Well, today the temperatures here in Minneapolis are in the single digits, the wind is howling, and snow is blowing everywhere. I walked about a half mile from my train stop into the office today and, it's officially frozen gonad weather out there. I could have taken the light rail train over those blocks, but I thought a little extra exericise couldn't hurt. Little did I know that my man parts would be rattling by the time I got into work. I know, TMI, but $%&*@! I am cold!!!

I've just started really droping noticable weight but cannot believe how chilled to the bone I am all the time. In winter's past, I rarely even buttoned/zipped my coat, since my fat kept me warm. Now I'm shivering all the time, am never without socks and a sweatshirt in the house, etc.
So I'm curious, are you taking the train from BL or from ER? I haven't tried it yet, but I'm anxious to hear from someone else who needs to get downtown (my office is on 2nd and Wash, so a ways from the train stop).

i take it from BL and I love it!!! 2nd ave north or south. If it is north you would have about a 4 block walk, some of which could be through the skyway between the 5th street transit station and the 4th street ramp. If it is south, you could take the light rail up to the Nicollet Mall station (free transfer) and walk a few blocks from there with only a few hundred feet to the skyway to somewhere near your office.
