do you ever have these days
It's must be a tough time of year right now, I've spent the past week or so upset with myself too. I say we give ourselves a break & realize we're not perfect & that we make mistakes, have a little too much to eat sometimes, and at times don't lose as much as we'd like. But, we're only human & it's ok not to be perfect all the time. I think if we take the pressure off ourselves maybe we won't get so upset. I know you're not alone in struggling somedays, so just know you have the support of everyone on here & by posting what you're doing at least you're making yourself aware of what you're up to & you can work to do better tomorrow.
My day was like that too. It took me almost 4 hours to eat a small salad for lunch. However, for me it's because I was insanely busy and I had to pick my daughter up from Preschool and bring her to daycare so there went my lunch hour.
So yeah, I understand. And because it took me so long to eat my lunch I'm still hungry...I can't wait to sit down and eat a "full" meal at one time.

I've been having some of those lately. What's worse for me, is the days where not a single protein rich food interests me. NOTHING. I've even been struggling lately to make the only protein drink I like work, that mocha espresso Click powder. Loved it until recently just not tasting the same. But I added some peppermint extract this morning and it was really good. I need to re-discover high protein foods that I like and can go to on my not so good days.

If we were capable of being perfect, we wouldn't have needed WLS in the first place.
Pre-WLS, would you have even recognized grazing? Or just accepted it as SSDD? Give yourself credit for identifying a not-so-good behavior, and take a step to avoid it. Put snacks out of sight. When you're going to put something in your mouth, ask yourself a few questions - am I hungry, or is this just something I think I want? Will I feel guilty after I eat this? Is it protein or junk? Stuff like that.
You're fine, you're normal, you're maintaining. It's a lot harder than losing, in many ways. Give yourself credit, gf!!

Imperfect does not = unsuccessful
Sorry you're having a rough time. I don't like food much right now, but am eating as I am supposed to. I worry about the time when I start eating and have to balance all that I am learning with a good dose of reality!
