Freaking for no reason?!?!
Y'know, I'm a slow loser too...I expected to lose a lot faster and it just hasn't worked out that way for me...the last two weeks I have lost just 2 lbs! It stinks. I'm 2.5 months out and am averaging 12-15 pounds a month, but I have HUGE stalls, like this current one. Sure there are people out there that lose 100lbs in six months, my sister was one of those people, which makes it even harder to understand why we aren't losing at that rate.
A lot of people will tell you to throw away your scale, but to be honest, my scale is my touchpoint right now, if I threw it out I'd be even more anxious, I step on it once a day, it gives me the drive I need to continue...so if you want to step on the scale don't feel bad.
My personal struggle is with eating so much 'fake' food, and also the amount of animal protein they suggest to get in the protien requirements. I am still unable to manage any of the liquid/powder protein drinks(probably because I have always eaten whole foods/organics and the textures/tastes are so foreign to me, but also because they make me nauseated)...I also supplement my proteins with beans rather than meat/dairy because I just don't think that much animal protein is the way for me...and beans have carbs, so thats why my weight loss is slow.
Just keep on keepin on, it's a longer road for some of us, but the end result will hopefully be the same!
My scale defies me, but I've dropped 3 pants sizes!
oh, and my ticker shows how much I've lost total...not since surgery, I lost 15lbs prior to surgery. so my post surgical w/loss is even smaller by that measure!
