P90x question- if you've used it.

I have a question about the calendar and phases.  I downloaded the program from the internet and found a copy of the workout calendar, however because I bootlegged it,  I have a questions about the calendar and the phases and what exactly I need as far as equiptment to do the program. I don't know if there is an intro video that I should also look for via the web that would explain this better?

If you've used this work out program, let me know, I have some questions!

Hi Stacy,

EDITTED TO ADD: All you need for equipment is free weight or bands and a chair or helper for push/pull ups.

I got this just before I decided to have the surgery and wish I would have started it BEFORE hand to get my body used to the activity :o) Now I have to wait for the OK from my doc to do anything more than walk (although I am going to try getting on my eliptical this week for some light cardio!)

Here is the schedule that concentrates less on strength and includes more cardio for maximum weight loss.

Weeks 1-3

  1. Core Synergistics
  2. Cardio X
  3. Shoulders & Arms, Ab Ripper X
  4. Yoga X
  5. Legs & Back, Ab Ripper X
  6. Kenpo X
  7. Rest or X Stretch

Weeks 4, 8, 13 (Recovery Weeks)

What is the program that is inbetween? is there one that is some of both? I'm already walking 20-30 mins on my lunch break at work, and I'd like to do a combo of strength and cardio..

Thanks for the feedback.. I was worried I was going to have to go buy a bunch of stuff to do it..
Can't wait to see how hard it kicks my butt.. it looks really challenging!
