10 Days Post-Op (Too good to be true?)
Shannon,
That's so great to hear that things are going so wonderfully for you!! Your weight loss is GREAT! It's nice to hear about others being so successful. I'm in the very beginning stages (only 3 days post-op) and still having issues with pain, so it's good to hear about how well others are doing not too far off in the future from where I am.
Keep up the great work, and I as you, will be looking forward to starting pureed foods around 12/4 or so (which will have us starting about the same time as each other). More variation makes the eating plan a lot easier to handle.

Sounds like things are going great! Congrats!
Shannon, how good to hear this news! I am starting my liquid preop diet and am scheduled for the surgery on the 4th.
In my recent post I compared myself to someone being on a rollercoaster, strapped in, hands in the air, and in for the duration. Your post reminded me of what it might feel like when someone does the entire route of the coaster and is coasting to a stop. Often they would say "Wow that went fast!" But their hair is messed up and their face is jet lagged and a smile is across their face. They look back at the loops taken and the twists endured, the hills plummeted down and the inclines they crept up...but it's over and behind them. "Wow that went fast".
Thank you for posting this. It will be my turn soon and this helps my outlook!
Also...YOU'RE DOING GREAT!!! Congratulations Chicky!!!
