Anyone had a fill at Methodist clinc?

Just wondering what my frist fill is going to feel like on Monday. Do any of you have a Lap Band and have had fills at Methodist Bariatrics??? Was it painful?? Im a big chicken

You will either get Stacey or Amy.... both great ladies. They will walk you through it. First you lie down and they find your port. They mark it with a pen and then numb the area.... that's probably the most painful part... just a sting that lasts a few seconds.... Then they wait a bit to let it set in. Then she will take the fill needle... it's big... scary, I know... but no worries... and stick it in the port. My first fill was hard because I had so much belly fat it was hard to get through.

I have Amy on Monday and I am terrified of needles and yes it does look so scary but I am glad I watched your so I know what to expect. Thanks for sharing that! I know I will be fine but I am just freaked out by the size of that needle (holy crap) thats BIG . LOL

It sure is big....gotta admit! BUT... lie back, close your eyes and don'****ch. It looks frightening but it's really not! Scouts honor!
