I hate my scale!

I can actually say I hate my stupid scale! Not only does it not report the news to me as I would like to see it, but on any given day I can get a 5lb differential just by moving it around the bathroom floor!  Whats up with that?

Does anyone have a scale they swear by for accuracy?

I hopped on mine this morning and the first reading was 253.3 then five minutes later it was 257.6 then immediately after it was 254.4  I mean, this thing wants me to throw it out the window...that's if we had a bathroom window!

It's the WW scale, I got it at Target for around $35.

Seriously, any suggestions for a more accurate one would be appreciated.

Sounds like the battery might need changing.

I have a Tanita (BF 679w) and swear by it...very accurate even with the doctors scales. I bought it at Bed, Bath, and Beyond.

Good luck!

I'm sure you've heard it from others.. but throw out your scale! or make someone hold on to it for you until you are like 6 mons out or maintaining.. I weigh myself MAYBE once a month... and its all about letting yoru clothes tell you thatyou're losing... don't get hung up on #'s.. i'm almost a 12 and I weigh more right now than i did 15 yrs ago when i was a 12... so let your clothes tell you how you're doing, not the scale. I only use the scale to track weightloss on here...

It's the best advice I got from the professionals here!!

I know everyone is different in 'approach' but to be quite honest, being a 'slow' loser in the first place means that in two months I am still wearing the same size jeans, sure they are a bit looser but if I didn't have the scale I wouldn't know whether I was 'actually' losing weight.  Once I get to a place where I am less concerned about it I will weigh myself monthly like I did when I maintained WW weights.  Right now the scale is what tells me I am losing, my clothes are still all the same size.
