Hello Everyone-First day back at work!

Hey Everyone,

I had my surgery on October 20th at 9am with Dr. Rupp.  Everything went smoothly and they were able to perform it lapo.  I did have some issues with water retention in the hospital but thankfully that went away within a couple of days after I got home.

I am so happy to be back at work because I was so BORED at home.  I went for walks everyday and did small things around the house but I can only look at the same things so many times before I go nuts.

I do have a question though-has anyone had any issues with eating chicken?  It doesn't matter if it's chicken breast or if it's eggs it just doesn't sit right and it makes me feel nauseous for about 20-30 min and then it goes away.

Oh!  And I'm already down 2 pants sizes (from a 28 to a 24) and 37 lbs!  I will have to start posting pictures of myself in the before and after part of my profile.

Well that's it for now...oh wait, does anyone know how to update my ticker?

Lots and lots of people have problems with chicken and/or eggs. Just set it aside for a couple of weeks and come back to it. You may find you can then eat it ok.

Please spay and neuter your pets!

First of all congrats on your awesome weight loss!

As for eggs...it took me about 2 months before I could eat eggs...they always made me nauseous no matter how I tried to make them.I couldn't even eat Egg Beaters.

It took me a long time before I could eat white meat chicken. I can now but it has to be really moist. I prefer dark meat now just for that reason. Dark meat seems to go down better and is easier to digest.

Good luck...just keep trying it will get better. You are still pretty new to this...give your tummy time to heal.

Hugs....connie d

Thanks so much!  I've been having people tell me it should be no problem and then I started thinking that maybe I messed up somewhere along the line.  I wasn't too worried because I can do other kinds of protien, but I have to admit I was getting frustrated with this.  I'll take a break and see how it comes out in a couple of weeks.

Thanks again!
