OT My Foster puppy

Today is a hard day for me as my Foster puppy "Porsha" is going to a new foster home....I'm only a emergency foster parent.....Under different cir****tances I would keep her, but as some of you know my life is up in the air right now.......

There are so many dogs that need a home or Foster home.....

At noon I will be saying Goodbye to her, and my heart is already breaking......Thanks for letting me vent here...

What a wonderful thing you do for those dogs.  I think that Porsha's heart is breaking from having to say goodbye to you, as well.

While your heart is pained to see Porsha leave, remember why she came to stay with you: because you have room in your heart to share with her. Remember not the sadness of letting her go, but instead celebrate the happiness that you gave to her and to the new adoptive family she is going to.  You have more to celebrate than to mourn.

 She has been spoiled rotten by us, I just hope the new foster parents are good to.....

As I was leaving she started to cry, broke my heart.....

Thank you.......My dog Zoie already misses her buddy......

I'm so dang mad though, I would have kept her if my life was more stable......GRRR...

It's hard being a foster, isn't it? But the good thing is these animals are going to well screened homes and will free you to save another animal!
