Thanks! I am feeling pretty good now. I am anxious for my first fill because I am hoping that is when I start dropping some pounds. My appointment is December 2nd, so my first official normal meal is on Thanksgiving! I am trying very hard to not give in to temptation right now but its hard because I feel so much better now

Hi Kim,
I had my lap band surgery exactly 3 years before you - Oct. 23, 2006. And my first real meal was Thanksgiving dinner also. It brought back so many memories when I read that in your post. All went well - I just ate very slowly and carefully. I lost around 110 lbs. and have been maintaining for about a year now. It's a great thing you have done for yourself. If you have any questions, ask away!
