FINALLY

I don't post much here but I'm am too excited noty to post today.  I've been approved by insurance to have surgery.  I have spent a year trying to not only get insurance, but get approved.  I am very excited.  I also will need vein surgery as well sometime in the next year. 

I'm scared but mostly very excited.  I've spent such a long time feeling tired and achey. 

So please keep me in your thoughts for this upcoming year.  Thanks.

WOW - Maggie, congratulations! I remember when...you were just asking questions. Congrats on just staying the course through the tough part of insurance hassles. Now you can officially say it was worth it.

I'm not familiar with your surgeon. Are you going with the RNY?

Good for you!  I don't blame you for being excited.  It's great.

I'm new to the boards too and I like you just received approval for my surgery a couple weeks back and now have a surgery date set for 11/19.  I'm like you, both nervous & excited.  It's a HUGE step we're taking with a lot of unknowns so it makes perfect sense that we'd be a bit nervous.  But, the outcome will be great and the changes we'll be making will make for a much healthier and happier life.  I wish you lots of luck on your surgery & look forward to hearing more on how it all went!!
