I got my date!!!!

Yesterday I met with my surgeon for the first time.  My ultrasound came back with no problems and I'm good to go.   My date is set for December 18th.  This works out well,  I will have Thanksgiving dinner and our traditional outing with the family.  There is so much to be thankful for this year!   

 I can't express how excited I am!!

  I am new to this, had my surgery Sept. 30 - and I'll move over and make room for you on the 18th!  Very exciting and the time will go fast!

Congrats!!  I am a fairly new post op (10/21/09) and I remember getting my date and how excited I was.  That time before surgery will go very fast!!  I too will move over and make room for you on the loser's bench (it is a fun place to be).

Thanks!!  My first name is Kim..  This decision has taken 7 years, part of me wishes it hadnt' taken so long, but, I needed to work things out in my head before I could move forward!

Congratulations!!  Isn't it soooo exciting?!?!  I recently got my surgery date also & I'll be having my surgery on 11/19, 2 weeks from today.  I won't be having another Thanksgiving but the timing worked out great since my hubby is home from work all week after my surgery (incase I need any help with anything).

I wish you much luck on your upcoming surgery & look forward to hearing more from you as your surgery date nears & after!!
