Reconstructive surgery - where to start

Good morning gang,

Well I've decided that I want to start pursuing surgeons for my reconstructive surgery but have no clue as to where to start so I'm looking to you folks to help me out.

I am looking at having body conturing and a breast lift done.  How do you go about picking a surgeon and what types of questions do  you ask?  Any type of feedback anyone has to offer would be awesome.

I do know that some people recommend Dr. Fasching, but would like a few other surgeon names.

Looking forward to hearing from you folks.

Thanks Bunches,

Alana

I went to Aly and Cram in Iowa City (www.icplasticsurgery.com) and they have a stellar reputation.  I also found one here that sounded pretty good - a female, but I'm sorry, I can't remember her name!  Jennifer something.

I would have gone to Aly and Cram too if I could have paid for it, They do amazing work, but I was able to get insurance to cover my procedures so stayed close to home.  I read the OH plastic surgery board for quite a while and checked out the American Society of Plastic Surgeons website.

I believe the surgeon Mary is referring to is Jennifer Harrington.

good luck
