pants wow moment

So in a couple of days I will be six years out.  These pants are size 26 and are the pants I wore to my consult with Dr Johnson (I am holding my copy of the photo that was taken at my consult 7/2003).

I never, ever thought I would post a photo wow like this but I am!!

I had my first WLS at Unity 11/2003 and a revision at the U in 1/2007, so I guess my pouch is 6 years old and my intestines are 3 years old.  I am also 6 months post op from plastics.

I am so grateful for the friends I have made through OH, having you all in my life is a blessing.

   

Below is a diagram of what happened when I had my revision.  I started with the type of RNY pictured on the left and was revised to a distal RNY, which gives me alot more malaborption than a run of the mill RNY,

Okay, I'm sorry, but those are some fugly pants HG! LOL I know I can say that to you & you'll still love me...right, right? haha

And seriously - you look so fantastic, it just is awesome!!!

Love the thought process on your pouch age vs. intestines age. Too funny! You're half a RNY'er and 1/2 a DS'er. ha!
