No, I haven't been told that, but the program might just be the best thing.

I was signed up for a class dealing with personal issues, several years ago, hated the thought that I needed help.  So glad that I completed the class, I did learn more about myself than I anticipated.  Best of luck.

In my personal opinion, I think most of morbidly obese people have some form of binge eating disorder. I did/do and keep working on it. Accept the help and move on to a better part of your journey. Best of luck.

Please spay and neuter your pets!

I can't help you w/ the binge eating disorder but seen that you are from Hutchinson so I thought I 'd see if you know about the support group that meets the first Monday of the month at Dunn Bros at 6:30? Please come if you can, maybe someone there can help answer some of your ?'s. After the holidays there is going to be a speaker coming to talk about eating disorders I believe.

This has been the best decision besides marriage and kids that I have ever made!!

I think we ALL want to have surgery the week before we actually decided to have it.  Why can't a decision be retro-active?

The truth of the matter is that WLS is a surgical procedure to alter your "plumbing" to aid in weight loss.  IT DOES NOTHING TO ALTER YOUR MIND.  You have to take care of BOTH in order to be successful - if you don't address the binge eating disorder, you won't wake up from surgery free of it - it'll still be a part of who you are, and could potentially MUCK UP your surgery.

Follow through on whatever hoops you are asked to jump through, and have faith that you will come out better for having done so.

Thank you everyone...
I am taking it one step and one day at a time...
I have gone over the signs and systoms sevreal times and I dont think I fit them signs and systoms.
I am gonna do the eval on wed morring and see what they say and go from there.
I am not questioning it because I dont want to have to go through more stuff I am guestioning it because I truelly dont believe I have this disorder....but I am open minded!

Thanks everyone
