I guess I'll bring my JJill velvet topper to consignment or on-line...I'll be having a few others, too, that are really cute, but older labels.  It appears Clothes Mentor pays out about $30 for a pile of clothes no matter what's in the pile.  I'm tempted to try again in a month (when I shrink out of the next batch of clothes!!) to see if I get $30 again...!!  I'm loving the room I'm gaining in my closet - but won't have to go shopping for about 30 more pounds or so....sad, isn't it - what we do to ourselves and our budgets with all the different sizes we hang on to??

I love Clothes Mentor -- but they are VERY picky.  They wouldn't take a bunch of my J.Jill dressed because the label was over 3 years old - even thought they were not out of style and in very good condition.  They won't take anything from walmart/target.

I have been going there, buy a few outfits and selling them right back a few weeks later when they got too big.  They have always bought back (cash on the spot) anything I returned that I bought there even though they didn't know I bought it there.

They also have a punch card you can get that gives you discounts -- and all the stores are linked now, so you get credit no matter which store you're at.  I often hit both Ridgedale and Maple Grove looking at things.

Anything they won't take, I bring to goodwill. Make an itemized list of how may tops, pants etc. and get a receipt -- going to have a huge amount of clothes on my taxes this year!

I just went yesterday for the first time and bought a Coach purse for $58!  I think it's better to be a buyer there than a seller!

Try 'nu look consignement in Minneapolis, I sell loads of kids stuff there, Once upon a child sucks.
