Anyone had experience with Drs. Leslie or Choudry at the U?

Has anyone had experience with Dr. Leslie as a bariatric or general surgeon, and/or Dr. Choudry, a plastic surgeon, at the U of MN?

I would appreciate hearing whatever you could tell me about them, either publically on this board, or by contacting me privately.

Dr. Leslie is my primary bariatric doctor (not my PCP). I have no problems whatsoever with him. He is the one that got some serious issues sorted out with my band and got me to lose my last 100 or so lbs. He was not my surgeon but I would have no problem if he were. He works with Buchwald (?) who is hailed as one of the best surgeons in the area in the area of complicated cases.

Thanks for your response, Hartzz. I am seeing him about hernia repair, and just knew nothing at all about him. It is good to hear he has helped you.

I have Dr. Leslie as my primary bariatric doctor as well. He has been awesome. Very professional, always returns my calls and gives me great tips. I went through Abbott Northwestern for my surgery as opposed to the U. He appears to be eager to learn from his patients and his colleagues.
