What kind of coffee drinks can i have now?
I had a northern lights decaf latte Saturday with vanilla (I always say "light vanilla or it's too sweet). I had no problem with it. I had my surgery the day before you.

I'm down 120 pounds - thanks to RNY! Working on the next 25. Then I'll tackle more...

I haven't had any problems drinking coffee, even hardcore expresso drinks. I do order those half caf though just to cut down on how it may affect my tummy. I can't drink coffee first thing in the morning- I get an upset tummy. I have to eat first. I brew coffee at home, when I'm somewhere I just drink whatever they have.
As Mary suggested the Northern Light Latte's at Caribou are sugar free versions...
Otherwise Click is an expresso protein drink too... however its spendy... its like $25 for 14 servings... I can't afford $50 a month for protein shakes personally... www.drinkclick.com/

Personally, I'm a Starbucks fan and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE a no foam, skinny caramel latte, which is basically skim milk, espresso and sugar free caramel syrup.
However, not all sugar free syrups are created equal. See if you can TRY the drinks before you pay for them or at least buy small ones at first. I can't stand the Caribou SF syrups - I'd rather drink Drano, but others like them. So try different ones until you find one you really like.
BTW - Latte's are great (provided you're not lactose intolerant) because it helps you get your calcium in.

You don't even need a coffee shop - you can make your own coffee drinks!
I have one of these almost every day - I'm addited
I use a 24oz Blender bottle - and sip it until lunch.
1.5 Cups Cold Decaf (I like the flavor of decaf)
4oz Soy Slender Cappuccino (Or skip and use more coffee)
1 Scoop Protein Powder (I love Nectar Latte Cappuccino or Nectar chocolate truffle or even Body Fortress Cookies & Cream from Walmart)
1oz SF Hazelnut syrup or creamer
Lots of ice
Shake and go
Cheaper than Starbucks and better for you :)
Approx 140 Calories / 2g Fat / 4g Carb from milk / 27g protein (varies based on protein you use)
