When it all feels like you'll never make goal.
When it feels like your surgery isn't going to work for you.
When it feels a little odd picking out smaller sizes.
When it feels awkward receiving compliments on how skinny you are getting, but yet your darn head won't let you believe that.
Then, here's a little picture to remind you to put it in perspective!

Original pant size: 24W (women's)
Today's pant size: 8MP (misses petite)
Almost 10 months post op & down 122 pounds.
Cost = PRICELESS!

And this isn't even goal, peeps - and that excites me. My loss has slowed to about 10 pounds a month now, but it's still dropping. I've only experienced on 7-week stall on my journey and I'm just amazed every day.

So, keep on your journey. Keep on fighting and doing all the right things. Because you are worth it!

My outside is starting to match up with my inside...that is a great feeling! To be so alive and so healthy feeling when that wasn't the case less than a year ago - it is amazing, yes.
Thanks Mary! You are on the bench with us now and I can't wait to watch you melt and enjoy all the WOW moments, too!!!

I am glad I was able to help you out. Truly, this board is amazing for all the support given. I've loved being here, learning and sharing. It's what it's all about.

Dr. Que is an amazing surgeon! You are in great hands.

So, with the potential cold coming on, just do what you can now to feel better next week. Plenty of rest, plenty of liquids, sal****er gargles, stay away from germy places, etc. Think positive. This will happen for you, and you will be pleased a*****h when the weight starts melting off you!

Best wishes.

Amy,
What amazing progress you have made!  I needed to see this pic.  I settles me down a little with the pre surgery jitters.  You deserve every bit of the complements you receive because you look GREAT!!!
