What is your 'turning point'?
Throughout my weight loss journey I go through motivation highs and lows..... when I'm in the lows, I always have a turning point or breaking point that leads me back to high motivation.
I'm curious.... what is your "turning point" usually?
I'd have to say mine are from this list usually:
--Significant weight gain
--Feeling my clothes get too tight
--Seeing a person who is at goal or healthy... they spark my motivation
--Feeling extremely drained and depressed from the bad eating, lack of exercise, etc
--Setting a weight loss goal (like losing weight for an event)

I haven't had too many lows (but being on drugs helps prevent some of them!) but I have had a few stalls. What always makes me feel better is when my dear best friend yells at me because my pants are too baggy! My waist is still thicker than I want, but my legs and butt must be getting better because she yells every time I see her. God bless friends who want you to succeed!
Turning points before WLS were usually bummers - running into old friends and the shocked and sympathetic looks on their faces, seeing pictures and realizing I looked like Fred Flintstone, having a skinny 18 year old clerk completely ignore me, being bigger than other moms at baseball games.
Keep your motivation up, girlfriend, because you are one of those that I watch for motivation!

-- Feeling sick after eating something I shouldn't have (usually some bad for me chips like Doritos or if I dumped because I ate too much sugar)
-- Not getting my protein shake in first thing in the morning because I'm running late for work.. I feel a total lack of energy for the rest of that day-- kicks me into high protein gear rest of the day
-- Not getting my lunch time walk in at work making me feel like a slug on a rug
