111lbs lost and WOW moment!

Yesterday I hit 193.2lbs! WOOHOO! That puts me at 111lbs lost and I promised myself that I would celebrate every 10lbs lost - step by step! That's 67% of my excess weight. Mind you... that's based on an ideal weight of 138lbs. Yeah right! lol

I also have a huge but modest WOW moment. My sister is in Europe and we were talking over Google Talk. When I told her my weight, she said, "Wow... you now weight less than me."  Yikes!! I'm quietly  excited but won't be making a bit deal of it (except on here). But this is HUGE!! My sis is 8 years older than me and has always been thinner.

You look great Elena!!  And now to weigh less than your sister!!  That has to feel fantastic.  Keep up the good work!  You are a true inspiration to all of us that have not had surgery yet!!

It's funny you mention your sister..

My sister had RNY approx 3 yrs ago.. I am now 20lbs away from her current weight.  Its really a weird feeling because I see her (and yes she's had about a 15lb residual weight gain since her lowest weight) but I still see a skinny sister... In my head I cannot wrap my head around the fact that I am going to be her size in just 20lb more of a weight loss.. WOW
