changing the avatar. . . Help, please!

I am so computer illiterate!   Finally took some new pics at four months out and I can't figure out how to add them to my site and move the old avie to the photo page.     I've learned so much from all of you, so could some kind soul tell me this part again?   My problem appears to be that the pics are too big.  No idea how to move the old avie.    Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Hi Tuna,  Go to a resizing site of your choice on line ( there are several free ones) and have your picture resized to be 100 x 100 pixels.  Save that photo, then go to the spot under your current avatar and click on change avatar and follow the directions.  Good luck, looking forward to seeing your  results.
