A cool-weather drink!

When the weather gets all cold & damp like it has been, I like to drink warm beverages.  But hot chocolate is out, and I can only do one large coffee per day.  (Trust me, more than that is NOT pretty...)

I would love to give credit where credit is due, (Rose?  Connie?), but what I'VE been enjoying lately is making my Crystal Light with HOT water from our Glenwood dispenser!  YUMM-O!!!!  Raspberry Lemonade?  Raspberry Peach?  You'd be surprised how nice that goes down!

Give it a try!

Who woulda thunk?!!  Sounds good though.  Since I am not experienced yet...would apple cider with a cinnamon stick work or to much sugar in apple cider?

I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in late 1999, so I stopped drinking fruit juices.  I would be afraid of the sugar - but the Crystal Light (or whatever brand of sugar free drink mix you like) is really good!  I think Wallyworld/Sam's even has an apple flavor that some folks really like!

(No more Type 2 for me, btw....!)

If you look in the hot chocolate aisle at most grocery stores you'll find that there's a SF apple cider.  It tastes great and I'm not one for apple drinks of any kind - but when you need to get warmed up - it does the trick!

What a great idea!  I have been drinking those packets of sugar free hot apple cider mix but I will have to give this a try.  It also reminded me of my MUCH younger backpacking years.  We used to mix jello mix with ho****er and drink it.  I imagine SF jello would work, too.  Oh the possibilities...

I make a protein chai-tea latte, and a cinnamon-mocha (protein) latte. I use vanilla protein powder, NF powdered milk, SF sweetener, instant tea, and spices for the Chai mix. I use chocolate protein powder, NF powdered milk, SF sweetener, and cinnamon hot chocolate (you can use cinnamon with cocoa powder or NSA Swiss Miss). Both are really yummy and also give you a protein boost.

I'll bet that you could also mix instant tea wit SF/NSA Tang or Crystal Light Sunrise for a greeat tasting hot drink!
