WOW: Boots!!!

I have dreamed for soooooooooo long to be able to fit into knee-high boots! I never had hope that my calves would lose enough weight but they did! I wanted boots for my Halloween costume so I went looking online... figuring that I would have to order from a catalog. Yesterday I stopped by Payless Shoes and they had wide-calf boots that FIT ME!!!!! (Now don't log off and run to your nearest Payless... hear me out first dang it!!)

I am constantly trying to celebrate all the little victories because they keeps me motivated when the # on the scale isn't moving. This one just brought me to tears!! I wore them last night and was walking through my apartment garage when a skinny girl walked wearing suede boots. I felt so proud... her biggest worry is probably, "Oh what style of boot should I get?" To her those boots are just another pair of boots.... to me they are a reminder of the blood and sweat I have put into this journey.

ObesityHelp has a section under My Account for Goals... one of my goals there is to wear knee high boots.... now I can go and check it off my list!!

2019: 11 years out and maintaining a loss of 150lbs.

Congrats on the boots!!!! I am restraining myself from logging off to run and get some......lol I should probably wait until they open at least. :)

I personally don't think I could rock the skinny heel. I believe I am the world's clumsiest female. My feet are typically planted firmly on the ground in very sensible comfy shoes. LOL

Again congrats to you! You are gonna rock that costume.

Jenn, if we had a "World's Clumsiest Female" contest, I may just beat you. High heals to ME are 3/4" wedges. NO AIR between the ball of my feet and the heel, or I WILL turn it over and fall!!!

Nope. I prefer moccasins.

dude...you are rockin the boots. I'd be afraid I'd have to go out and buy a few more pairs, perhaps some in brown suede!
