So excited to be back!!

I'm back! I don't know if any of you remember me... but I was scheduled for lap band last April 15th.  On day 4 of the liquid diet I kept feeling pains when I took a breath. I ended up going to the ER at Methodist where they found between 10-15 bilateral pulminary embolism's in both my lungs most likely caused by my birth control. Since then, I've been MIA dealing with getting well...on blood thinners and doing regular checkups.

Yesterday I had my 6 month CT Scan and bloodwork done...All better! Thank Goodness!

It was meant to be, I had to take a step back and take a detour but alas here I am. Today they scheduled my surgery date on October 21st at Methodist Hospital with Dr. Weatherille!  YAY!!

I'm sure you'll be seeing a lot of me around here in the future I'll be starting my liquid diet again shortly.

You are right, it was meant to be. Now, you can move forward and know that you are in better health before going into surgery.

Yee Haw! He's a great surgeon - he did my first surgery. Congrats!

I am glad you are back and feeling so much healthier.
