OT- Not good news
Last week I mentioned my husband lost his job well today I was informed I was being let go. I'm very scared because of the no health insurance and the COBRA being way to high for me with now losing both incomes (its too high even with the goverment paying 70% of it). I just hope I can find a job soon and get insurance.
If anyone knows of any open jobs for a project analyst or project manager with excellent computer skills (have lots of MS Access knowledge). Let me know.
I probably won't be online a lot for a while because now I have no job which means I have to give up my work lap top. I can check facebook and my email by cell phone [email protected]

Kathy,
I am so sorry to hear about this. I keep going back to my old old old standard saying - everything happens for a reason. Sometimes we can not see that reason right away but it usually ends up as a more positive experience than we expected. Hope you can find a job soon. I understand the insurance expense and sometimes it is just too much to afford and leaves you with no other choice but to go without. I'll keep you in my prayers that you find a job quickly.
I'm so very sorry, Kathy... I can't TELL you how thankful I am to have a secure job since MY hubby lost his job. It's a scary enough thing for ONE of you to get laid off, I can only imagine what this is doing to your state of mind.
I don't know how you feel about relocating, but if you are both open to that possibility, you MAY just find the silver lining in this setback - I will pray that you do!!!

Kathy:
I am sorry to hear this news. Sometimes, though, trying cir****tances can lead you to a better place so long as you keep your mind and heart open to that possibility. The weeks ahead will no doubt be hard as you come to accept what has happened. Beyond that, though, you are both young, capable people in good health; the very kind of people for whom the light of hope and renewal shines brightest. You will find your way.
Take care,
RP

Kathy,
I"m very sorry you are going through this. I"m so thankful that when my husband lost his job that I have been able to keep mine since I carry the isurance.
I work for the State of Minnesota and there are job openeings. The plus side with a government Job that you have your insurance right away when you are a new employee or within 30 days. The premium payments are really reasonable for family coverage as well.
If you would like to submit your resume you can visit www.doer.state.mn.us this will forward you to the Minnesota Management and Budget website. There you will use the resume builder software and then look for different jobs.
I hope that helps. In addition I do know that the Federal government is opening an office in Minneapolis and they are looking for people to fill it. You can apply online for those jobs as well, unfortunatley I don't know the website.
