Hello, everyone! Surgery tomorrow!
Hello, I am new to this forum. My name is JuJu and I am having my RNY tomorrow at Fairvview Hospital, Mpls! I am soooo scared and nervous and trying not to be freaked out. I am so happy to finally be on my way after waiting 3 yrs to get this surgery. I have a 19 month old son who deserves a healthy, active mommy and I want to give it to him, God willing. I cannot wait to start my new way of life!

Congrats on your new journey! Keep us posted on how your surgery goes (or have someone post for you!) and feel free to ask anything.. (and I mean anything)
I felt so prepared but once you're on the other side of the fence, it's definately a new world! Just make sure you get up and walk as soon as you can post-op and sip! walk, sip sip sip.. walk, sip sip sip....
I was up every 2 hours on the dot peeing too.. so I'd do that and then walk and then go back to sleep..
YAY!

I wish you the best of luck. I haven't had the surgery yet, still waiting on approval, which **fingers crossed** will come soon. Although the risks are very low, as a mother its hard not to think about them which is why I waited so long to look into WLS. But like you said, your son deserves a healthy, active mommy, and you deserve to be one for him.
The surgery will go great and you'll be running around with your little boy in no time.

Hey JuJu! That's awesome! We'll see you on the loser's bench!
