Clothes Mentor

So as Therese posted we went to Clothes Mentor in Roseville...

They seem to be ultra picky in styles and name brands. I kinda picked at the woman helping me... they gave me $31.60 for what they took.. It was all mostly Lane Bryant capris. They took one sweater. Both pairs of shoes they took.

I was VERY surprised at a few things they didn't take.. I have a beautiful pair of cream colored dress pants that are capri length.. didn't take them. A few other shirts too.. and some other Lane Bryant pants...  All of my clothing is "in style" at the moment that I brought.
I was also quite surprised they didnt' take a black dress I brought in.. its a size 20, empire waist, and has a gathered area under the boobs with a tie to the back.. its beautiful on... would be the perfect purchase for a plus size woman looking for a black dress.. I wore it once.

So anyway, disappointed they didn't want more...

Have you or anyone tried Turnstyle?  That is another place I want to check out for selling.....let me know if you are familiar with them.

Thanks

Stacy,

They are very picky.....They will not take anything that has a mark or a fray. It has to be in excellent condition......And they won't take anything that was bought from Walmart or places like that.....I worked at one and they are extremely picky......And I think they are high priced.....I go to savers, I've bought Tommy jeans or capri's for $8, and Levi's for $5......
