Approved and got my date!

Well this morning I got the call from my Dr. Office and they said the magic words. "YOUR APPROVED" I was so happy. I didn't have any problems with my insurance at all. They approved in less then 2 weeks.

My Surgery date is on Oct 1st, now I'm just waiting for my packet of info to come in the mail and I'm good to go.

I guess I'm alittle nervous and very excited at the same time. But I know its time.

I wanted to thank you all on this forum for your in-site, tips and other very good advise that I have read over the last few months getting ready for this.. Being able to see how others are doing and how they are working toward being a better "You" really helps all those working for the same goal and I think you all should be awarded for sticking with it and helping others whether you see that you are or not.

Wow!  You are the day after me - we'll be on the losers' bench together!

Congrats on your approval.....Make sure to take your measurements, as it's interesting to see them go down.....

Congrats on your approval AND date! When is your preop class? Did you already get off the pounds Dr wanted you to lose? I hated that part, struggled big time. Hopefully you didn't/don't!  Congrats again!

I actually got to take the Preop class on this past Tuesday.  And I did loose my first 10 pounds but im not really going down much more. I was/am trying though to get more off. Now I need to figure out where to buy my pills. Im hoping for one place to get them all. Thanks for the encouragment....

Congrats!  Seems like a few of us will be on the same timeframe!  I'm scheduled for Sept 23 but haven't got my approval yet from BXBS.  Hopefully in the next few days.

Congratulations on everything above!  I just had mine done with Dr. Benn and found their in-hospital care very comforting and supportive. 

Let us know if you have any specific questions.  Also, are you going to any Saturday coffees?  I'm down in Burnsville/Eagan and we'd love to tell you what we know.

I have never done a Saturday Coffee but would love to meet people/new friends. Where would I find this and or where do I go? Im in Eden Prairie, so Burnsville isnt far.

Dr. Benn did my surgery...and I have to say he is an amazing dr and person...you are in great hands with him!!

Congratulations....hang on for the wild ride....you are almost there now!
