mn wls support groups???

Just wondering if anyone knows of any support groups in mn that you can go to pre and post op. I live in duluth and would love to keep it within a 50 mile radius. I know about st marys support group but it sounds like that may just be for post op. And I don't think st lukes has oneρρ  

St Mary's support group is for both pre op and post op.   I've been there many many times and should probably get back there again.    I don't know of any pre op ones at St Luke's but many people going to the one at St Mary's have been to other surgeons/hositals.   My husband had his lapband at St Luke's in June...and I had my RNY at St Mary's in Dec of 2004.   It's a great support group...lots of information and support. 

I am looking forward to going to the St. Mary's support group this month.   There is also a group in Virginia, a little over your 50 mile radius.  This group meets the third monday of each month at 6  pm in the second floor lobby of SMDC-VA.  All are invited, pre and post op.
