Blowing my own horn!!!

Hello everyone....

Saturday is my two year Surgiversary. I saw my WLS doctor this afternoon. I am just thrilled!!

Dr. Glass said all my numbers were just AWESOME. He said whatever I am doing I need to continue because it is really working.He had absolutely no complaints.

I discussed my eight pound weight gain. He said because six of it was since I broke my hip he wasn't concerned. He knows I joined a gym and am working out again.  Dr. Glass said he believes I won't have any trouble losing it . I am going to work hard to prove him right!!!!

I am so grateful for Dr. Glass and the opportunity to have had this surgery. My life has changed in so many positive ways. I am just overwhelmed with emotions!!

Many, many thanks to all you wonderful friends for all the support and encouragement along the way. Without you I would have been lost. Not to mention probably not doing as well with the weight loss. Hats off to you!!!!!!

Connie - I teared up reading this.  You are really something!   Many congratulations for being an inspiration. 
  I hope in a couple of years to be able to feel as happy with my changes as you are.  It is a lifesaver.  Literally.

Thank you Mary....this surgery has saved my life and it will yours too!!

I no longer have high blood pressure or Diabetes...just to name a few medical changes....I feel great!!

So happy to read this wonderful post. You are due for some positive strokes and what a great one this is. I can tell by your wording that you are feeling better. Connie, you have enriched my life in many ways tho we've never met in person. We will some day I'm sure.

I agree with Dr. Glass, you will have no problem taking off the weight you gained.......Sounds like the hip is healing and your on your way......
