Any problems with Medica

I have Medica Choice and am hoping to send in my approval letter in October. I was just wondering if anyone has had problems getting approved for WLS through them.

I have Medica Choice and the VERY day I was submitted for approval, my Medica changed Group numbers.  I called Medicas customer service dept.  They were SO nice and told me that it would still be ok.

I was approved on the 8th business day with no problems.

Medica is the best, I think!!

I have Medica Choice and all went smooth as silk - I had no problem with anything.

I had no problem with Medica at all. I called them to see if they covered WLS and they gave me a list of surgeons in my area that they would work with. They were very good about the whole thing.

Hi Bob! A bit 'OT', but I had to post a huge CONGRATS to you!! Excellent progress!!  Hope you're having a booming Summer at the resort! I'm good...down 97#s...no fill yet! Doc G. is amazed, as am I! Will be at my 1 year on 10/22 & that's my next visit with him.

I have Medica Choice and have had absolutely no problems with them.  I never had to dispute anything.

I had more problems getting my psych's office to fax the damn psych review than I had with Medica approving my surgery.  Just make sure you know their requirements.

I had my stuff submitted on a Monday and the Tuesday of the next week I was approved :)  They're wonderful and very helpful when you call.
