OT: Update on Darla

Darla is done with the first part of her surgery.  She went in at 1:30 and was done with the first part at 2:20.  Jones is working on her now.

 

Her OB took the left ovary and did not take the right.  He said that was close to the bowel and did not want to chance complications.  There were 2 large masses attached to the right ovary, he removed the masses.  He feels that the masses were benign, they were sent to pathology along with the fluid to make sure.

 

So far so good.
