OT: Update on Tammy and the Twins
I spoke with Tammy this evening. It is going to be a very long road for her and her boys.
Manuel had surgery this past weekend to remove part of his intestines and repair a hole in his bowel. He will have additional surgery tomorrow to see if they can get his kidneys to start working again. Right now he is very puffy and has many toxins built up in his little body. As Tammy says- pray for PEE!!
Alejandro had heart surgery this morning and seems to be doing well. He has gained 3 oz, so now weighs in at 2 lb 7 oz.
Tammy has been staying at Fairview Riverside this week- the social worker helped to arrange a room for her. She is tired, but will try to get some sleep tonight.
Please keep praying for her health, the boys health, and for the doctors who are caring for the three of them to have the wisdom to know what to do.
I will post again when I know more.
