Still no word

I called my insurance company on Thursday and they told me that my case has been escalated to the Medical Director for review and that they have 15 days to give me an answer. I'm hoping that is a good sign as a Doctor will look at my chart instead of an insurance person and realize that the only way I can heal my ulcer is to have surgery - that there are no other options. She said that hopefully we'll hear something by the end of next week about the status of my revision surgery.

Maybe my Gastro doctor and your insurance company are on vacation together.......I still have no answers on my liver byopsy.  GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR  Lets get them back by going on vacation while trying to contact us?????????
