Ok, so yesterday I had some pickles for snack around 3pm.  A good healthy  chicken dinner and a small popcorn snack.  Then at about 845pm last night the volcano blew!!!!!  The skin of the pickele stuck over the the exit gate of the pouch!!!  Ouch Ouch Ouch!!!!!!!!  I was blowin chunks for about 2hrs and it felt like Joe Mauer was smacking my pouch with a baseball bat!!!!!  Just goes to show you that even  1.5 yrs after surgery the pouch works and that it has some really good reminders that you always have to chew chew chew and eat slowly!!!!

Thanks for the reminder, although I am very sorry that you had to go through that last night!
I knew there was a reason I don't like pickles!!

Ugh!  I have a small pickle now and then and haven't had problems.  I do get nervous around chicken though and never know what to expect.  I always have to remember to chew chew chew with that.  I had a situation last week where I didn't chew meatloaf well enough and it came right back up.  Never had problems with that before.  Reminds me to SLOW DOWN!!!

Have a good one man!

You are absolutely correct! Every once in a while I forget to chew. And I end up paying for it in the end.

The same thing happened to me last night. Was eating a pork chop, which was cut into tiny little pieces already, but must have swallowed too soon. It felt like the pitch that hit Cabrera in the leg at last nights game. At about the same time. If you watched the game you will know what I mean. Its nice that I can throw out a reference to the Twins and someone understands me.

Troy,

Here's my million dollar idea: peeled pickles.  I'll get right on it!

Glad you're through it.  I hope to see you tomorrow.
