100 Pounds Gone!
Hi Everyone! I am 7 months post op and as of this morning I am down 100 pounds!
I am so happy! I was thinking this morning how I felt 100 pounds ago...
I could not even go from my car into the store without being short of breath! Forgetting something on the other side of the store, out of breath again, now I never get out of breath and it feels SO great even going up stairs!!!
I used to use SO many excuses not to go out and do things with my family because of feeling out of place, now I want to go out ALL THE TIME, nothing all that special, but OUT anyway feels Fabulous! We have even gone to a water park twice this summer!!!
I am reminded everyday how bad I felt before without really knowing it at the time how bad it was..Being healthy feels GREAT!!
I wish I had more time to reply to every one's posts, SO many great informational subjects are on this board, but I read them daily and I thank all of you for helping me, even if we have never spoken:) I have found great support here for the posts and my occasional question!
So the only thing I regret at this point is not measuring myself before surgery! I REALLY wish I had done that! I do take pictures each month and can see the changes that way.
The only problem I am having is the head issues:) My head does not want to see who is in the mirror, I am hoping it passes because I still see a big girl! I think it is driving my husband nuts! :) The pictures we take each month still shock me, it does not look like me, but it helps a little..
I still have 25 pounds to my goal, but so far I have gone from 24 pants to 9-10s and 2X (tight) tops to being between a Medium and Large top, and sadly my ta ta's have went from a 40F to a 36D...But life is GREAT!!!
Thanks again to every one who posts! I really enjoy following you through your journey's and seeing the changes in you all as well!!!!!
