Warning:This may end up being a long post.

Life has many different ways of showing its ugly face, charming face and shocking face. Right now in life I am experiencing a number of different faces.

27 yrs ago my 3rd child was born. He had a multitude of health issues growing up and was in the hospital having treatments more often then any one person should of been their whole lives, I remember a count at one point of him being in the hospital 98 times and he was only like 6 or 7 yrs old. This went on until he was 18 yrs of age. Then just has fast as it had reared its ugly face into our lives, the disease was gone. POOF never to be dealt with again ( so we hope to this day).

He was the child that had been on every kind of drug you could think of from every type of steroid (to which when he became immune to they had to change) and then chemo pills to boot. He took many other drugs related to his health also. He would have IV's in at home that I had to keep flushed, I had to leave my job, moved back home with my mom to have help with his cares.

None of this would I ever have changed in the world!! He was a fighter.
We were told way back then that he would most likely never be able to have kids, due to the massive drugs. His height would be stunted, and who knows what else. We as a family have dealt with this all these yrs.

He loves kids and always has. It would of been his calling to be a dad, in no uncertain terms. See life just doesn't always deal out the hands we wish or pray for.

Last night I got one of those phone calls:
Hey mom, what you doing? I knew right then something was up!
He then goes on to tell me, We are going to be grandparents again and he is going to be a DADDY!!

I can not express my over joy and that what the doctors said, didn't come true!!
He will be a daddy, he is on cloud nine, and I am sure if you look over far enough you will see him bouncing between cloud 8 and 10 LOL.

Just wanted to share this wonderful news. Grandchild number 11 will be here around April 1, 2010

We are still so very blessed.
