well my dr suggested I take the centrum chewables and caltrate D both once a day. Those have alot of vitamins in them and as long as you get your protein in you should be ok.

Hey I had the same surgeon as you are!!  Are you RNY?  Keep in mind that RNY,lap band, and DS patients have different post surgery vitamin needs!!

I'm RNY:

I am currently taking:

chewable Flintstones Complete multivitamins. One when I wake up and one at bedtime.

Citracal + D (calcium citrate + vitamin D) Make sure its calcium citrate if you are an RNY patient, we need that kind!

Vitron C (Iron supplement since I'm a menstruating woman)

B12 injection once a month

I think that's it? Did i forget any?

Click: www.drinkclick.com/  is a double shot espresso protein drink with 15g of protein.
I haven't used it because I don't want to get back on the caffeine habit now that I kicked it plus it was recommended by my doctor to try and stay away from caffeine post surgery. But lots of people use it as their protein source. Hope that helps.

Where do you get your Vitron C? The walgreens locations  I've checked don't carry it.  I suppose I could order online, but would rather just run into the store.

I've seen Vitron C at the CVS pharmacy in Plymouth.

I have gotten Vitron C at the Target in Apple Valley.  You have to ask for it they keep it behind the counter even though it is not prescription.

Hi Stacy!  Thanks for the list of vitamins.   Trying to get a head start on everything.  I am having the RNY later this year with Dr. Schwarts.  I see we have the same surgeon.  He seems like a really great doctor.  How is your experience with him and his staff?  I hope you are doing great!

Thanks Tammy
