Sprained ankle again... but...
On Friday... as I was walking to my car, I rolled my right ankle for the 7th time. I can't frickin' believe it!!!!!!! I was really bummed... I thought losing 100 pounds would make a difference... that I'd never sprain this weak piece of me again. Well... I did.
BUT... the GOOD side of this all? Two days later, I am not on crutches! I realized that losing 100 pounds has helped me heal easier. I don't have to carry that extra 100 pounds on my ankle every day!!

LOL I think I'll keep my foot this time around! hehe
Glad to hear it's healing up pretty quickly, Elena! I can't imagine the dance floor is all to happy about this. LOL
Hey, like Nancy, I too had issues spraining my ankle. My podiatrist suggested finding a good pair of high top tennis shoes. More ankle support. I felt like an idiot 'cuz I couldn't wear my kind of shoes, but you know, it really did help. I wore them until the ankle fully healed and I felt I could handle it again, but any time it feels weak, I'll pop those on just for safety. Just a thought.

Ouch! Hope it feels better really soon. I'm sure you're right about easier healing with less weight on it. That's YET ANOTHER benefit I'll look forward to in the future.

I'm down 120 pounds - thanks to RNY! Working on the next 25. Then I'll tackle more...
