I am going to go for a walk... or possibly just take the day off.

I joined a gym last week Friday and I have been there 3 days in a row now. But not sure exactly how to do things correctly. How many reps of lifting, etc, etc, etc. Any good web sites to help me along so I know what I am doing there?? Or anyone on here lift weights? I found I absolutely LoVe the eliptical machine!!!
