What is happening?

It has been a while since I have posted on here, but today I have a question. I keep getting these spells where out of the blue my mouth will star****ering and I feel like I'm going to be sick, even start to dry heave but nothing ever comes up. I will wake up with this in the middle of the night. It can come on after drinking but never happens after I eat. It is very confusing. Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen. I was just to my 3 month visit last week and all was good then Sat afternoon this started. WHY?

The mouth watering and dry heaving is the start of throwing up for me.  does anything feel stuck?   i t hink is deffinately a time to call the surgeons office

I did call and I'm waiting to actually hear from Dr. Johnson himself (he is in surgery).

I believe I have experienced what you are describing but it happened after I ate too much.  Is it possible you drank too much too fast or even the temp of the beverage was enough to give me dry heaves the first few months.  Is it happening when you drink a certain beverage like milk or does this happen also when you have water?  

I get these sensations for 2 reasons...either my stoma is plugged or my pouch does NOT like the food I ate. This can be caused by many things for me such as being tired, not drinking enough water, being on antibiotics, allergies (pouch fills with mucous). When that wave of nausea hits, if I don't get rid of the last bit of whatever went into my pouch my body will while I feel miserable. I can get this from slider foos like thin yogurt, and even from liquids sometimes. Who knows why?...not me, so I just try to address it as it comes.
