What's your short-term goal?

We're all very concerned with our LONG-TERM GOALS: lose 100lbs, lose 200lbs, lose 70lbs... but let's stop for a minute and just think about and type out one SHORT-TERM GOAL.

This helps me in my journey because I tend to be very ambitious... I plan a lot and then my head explodes... lol

So just for right now.... what is one short-term goal that you are focusing on? Whether you're pre-op... shortly post-op or 5 years out... we can all set a small goal!

ME?

Lose 10lbs.... back to my lowest of 203lbs. Also? Exercise 2-3 times a week. That's it!

My short term goal is to run in the back yard with my son and not die from asthma. I know that will happen before i hit -100 pounds because as i loose i feel better.

Mine would be to get back on track and take one day at a time - eating and exercising properly.

Mine is to keep plugging away at my list of things to do before I get a surgery date.  Still left:

- 2nd meeting with psychologist (next Monday)
- Meeting with pulmonary specialist (possible sleep study)  Next week
- Get approval from PCP and schedule endoscopy

Meanwhile, I am not to gain any weight, but I'm trying to lose some.    Have cut back on eating and am planning meals and packing my lunch for work.

I'm down 120 pounds - thanks to RNY!  Working on the next 25.  Then I'll tackle more...
