I am such a terrible poster!
Well it's been awhile since I have posted a message so I thought I would check in and say hi! Let everyone know that things are going very well. I am cruising up on my 2 year check up and I can hardly believe it's possible!! I never thought my hair would come back for one and now I have beautiful full hair~ almost better than before!! I am taking all my vitamins, still keep track of my daily food intake and watch what I eat always. Not that I don't have days where I eat more than I should or junk but I always get back on track! So far so good! I have maintaned about the same weight for the last 6 months, things seem to get bigger on my so I am still shrinking but not losing the last 3 darn pounds!!!! You would think after losing 150lbs that 3 would be easy!!! NOPE lol Well I started off at 352lbs and am currently at 202lbs so 150lbs lost is an awfully big amount maybe my body is happy where it's at! I know that I feel about 100% better and I know I can move around and do more things easier so that's all that really truly matters to me! I figure one day maybe I will get lucky enough to get below 200lbs but if I don't I don't. I went from a size 30/32 pants to a 16(that's big actually) and actually can wear 14's pretty easily. In shirts I wear a Large to XLarge depending on the brand of course. I want to have surgery to remove my stomache(lol) because that is the worst skin for me~ that and the skin on my thighs. But if I can't do that I will be ok too! I guess I just wanted to say how absolutely happy I am and thrilled with this surgery I feel like a million bucks and look like close to that anyway! LOL Hope all is well with everyone Kristi

I don't know if you are a terrible poster or not, but you are a fantastic example of someone who is still doing things right after two years. I am just over a year out and I found your story to be inspiring....you can't be a terribel poster if you inspire people, by the way. Congratulations on your success!

Congratulation Kristi!
Isn't this an amazing journey! You have done an amazing job with your tool! And no matter what they say WE can keep loosing well beyond the first 18 months to 2 years. Don't be a stranger and continue to "pop-in" and let us celebrate with you as keep at it!

Amazing is exactly how I would describe it!! I still don't get recognized by people who haven't seen me in awhile and I still look in the mirror and have to do a double take to see that it really is me looking back!! I am so happy with my tool and I intend to keep on working/using it! Thanks again Cheryl
hey there girl! Great to hear from you...I have been a terrible poster as well...not on here much anymore, but wanted to share my 2 year surgiversary with everyone that has helped me get here...You are doing a fabulous job! Keep it up, and one day, you will suddenly drop below that 200 and you won't even know it....yes, those 3 lbs are harder than the 1st 100 lbs! Just don't give up hope!

Wow! You have no idea how much I needed to hear this. I'm still jumping throw hoops for the surgery. I don't have a date yet, but experiencing a roller coaster of emotions. I weigh more than you did to start, but am hoping to get some off before the operation.
You are inspiring and I'm thinking you are probably right to try and be satisfied at the current weight, unless you want to lose more. But what is it about? I'm totally doing it for my health and I remember feeling GREAT at 200.
Take care and keep it up!

I'm down 120 pounds - thanks to RNY! Working on the next 25. Then I'll tackle more...

Well I am glad to help! I totally understand the roller coaster feelings for sure! I remember going from excited, nervous, scared and every other emotion you can feel! I know one thing it is by far the best thing I have ever done, I follow the rules with vitamins, water and protein first. I do have my days where I eat stuff I shouldn't but I have learned that one day isn't going to ruin this and I pick myself back up and start the next day over new! I feel better than I ever remember feeling, I currently weigh less than when I was 12 years old so it is a tremendous change for me. I still haven't gotten used to my new body but hopefully that will come!! I am hoping all goes well with the rest of your journey!! Keep in touch and you'll do just fine!! Kristi
