Fourth of July is very food-heavy... so how did everyone do fighting off the demons? Good? Bad? Tell us stories!

Otherwise... how did your Independence Day go overall?
What did you do?

It was actually a pretty quiet day for me! lol My mom got out of the hospital the day before so I hung out with her all day. Brought her out to lunch - I had some artichoke dip with some pita bread. Yes, not the best thing in the world but it was deliciously garlicy. Yumm. Then we watched movies all day. The Women is hilarious, folks! You must see it.

Have done very well in the eating department. i had to work all weekend. Found myself thinking way to much about what I could've, should've done, so much for independence!

I think I did pretty well.  I was excited to have been able to eat a hamburger patty!!  I watched everyone else eat the fatty potato chips and dip, mayo-covered pasta salad, and angelfood cake among other foods.  I felt sort of sad but then realized that they aren't good for my anyway!

Started research @ 280 pounds
Surgery Date 05/27/09 @ 258 pounds

From Thursday afternoon until last night I have had:

Chicken, bacon, ranch from subway minus bun and veggies.
Mixed nuts (handful)

Friday:
Ham and cheese roll up
deli cashew chicken salad
Cheetos's (handful)
plum
cotton candy (enough to turn tongue blue!)
White castle double cheeseburger (no bun)
4 onion chips
Mix nuts (handful)
biked about 6 miles and walked around ALL of Como (zoo, conservatory, amusement park).

Saturday
Oatmeal w/milk
Famous Dave's pulled chicken Sammie, no bun
6 chips
TGI Fridays grilled chicken breast and a couple bites of side salad.
Mixed nuts
Walked around Fort Snelling for 3 plus hours, ran in a rain storm for about 5 to 10 minutes ( I hate running!)

Sunday
Beef hot dog with mustard, no bun or skin
mixed nuts
McDonald's grilled chicken breast with cheese and ranch, no bun of veggies.
DQ hamburger patty no bun with cheese
DQ kids cone
cotton candy (handful)
Finally Home and in BED!!

I think the total  of walking/running/biking and other exercise should of been a great total I would guess about 6 miles biking,4 to 6 miles walking/running.

I am down 2 pounds from before we left town for the weekend! Were not even going to go to the how many calories/fats/proteins etc.. I consumed!
