Anyone near Brainerd?

I'm 3 months post-op RNY and kinda....lonely! So I'm just wondering if there are any post op support groups or even just people that want to grab "coffee" in this area?

I've seen a few posters for people that are 1+ years out, or people of a certain age. I'm in my 20's and have yet to find something! MAN do I miss the cities!!

I'm 2 months out and will be near Crosslake in August.  Maybe we could get together then.  I've found it is very helpful to talk to people who've been though this or are in the same boat.

I am three years out on Tuesday and live in Brainerd.  We have an active support group that meets at St. Joseph's Hospital the thrid Tuesday of the month at 6:00 p.m.  It is open to anyone, not just people who have had surgery through St. Joe's program. 

We had a coffee group going but have suspended for the summer months.

Please feel welcome to join us anytime.  We have people at all stages of the process at our meetings.
