It has been a couple of weeks since we met in St. Peter.  Is anyone interested in meeting again Sunday?

I tried to make it to that a couple of weeks ago.  But I wasn't able to get there.  If nobody else responds to this and you still want to meet up, would you consider meeting somewhere closer to Gaylord/Glencoe?  I'm in Glencoe.  St Peter is about an hour from my house.

I will PM you my email address.  I really need to get connected with support here.  I just moved to Glencoe last month and I don't want to drive to the cities for support.

Now, just finding a coffee shop or somewhere to meet up at..... No Starbucks around here.  That is what I miss most about the cities.

Would Cologne or Waconia be too out of the way?  I'm in the sticks between Belle Plaine and Henderson.  I would also like to meet up earlier in the day on Sunday as I have plans in the afternoon.
Bumps isn't out of the Q for me in Glencoe but it's always so busy there on Sun. morns.

Cologne and Waconia are good for me.  But I don't know about anyone else.  I wouldn't go to Bumps on Sunday morning, either.  If something is set up for Sunday, then I would be ok with it being earlier in the morning.  Cologne or Waconia are about 30 minutes - which works for me.  I know it may not be convenient for those who are closer to St Peter.  But maybe we could do both if there is an interest?

I see you had Dr Drew.  Isn't he fabulous?  I'm interested in seeing if you did the grafting around the stoma.  He did that when I had surgery in 2007.  So I'm just curious.

Do Cologne or Waconia have a coffee shop?  I think Waconia has Starbucks in the Target (I'm such a Starbucks gal).  Other than that, I haven't a clue.

I'm open to meeting up again on Sunday. Let me know when and where.

Well, let me throw this out there.  Since nobody in the St Peter area has responded yet (they may.... and we can wait and see what happens.....)   would anyone want to meet up in Norwood Young America or Cologne?  I don't know what is out in those areas.  Typically everyone goes to get coffee.  Since I don't know the area very well I'm not sure what is out there.  Or any other places out there?  We are in Gaylord, Glencoe, Green Isle, Waconia area (sorry... Can't remember the exact city name and I don't want to hit the backspace key).  It seems as if NYA is doable for us?

And if we find a place on Sunday, is 9am too early or too late?  8:30?

There is always McDonalds and their sugar free lattes and coffee.  But I'm further out than the rest of you.  And I know for the first year I wouldn't have stepped foot in a McDonalds.  :)  Now I can go, but I don't eat anything there.

Whatcha think?

Well, since there are no replies from the Mankato/St. Peter area I think somewhere between Glencoe and Cologne would work.  I know there is a cafe/coffee place in NYA but I do not know if they are open on Sunday.  Glencoe has Gert and Erma's but they are closed on Sunday.  I am fine w/ McD's if we can't come up w/ anything else.

I have been out of town the last 10 days & would love to meet up for coffee, unfortunately I won't be able to go up to Glencoe or Cologne...maybe next time.

I would attend but we have relatives visiting from Iowa (haha, I know) that are staying until late Sunday so I will be unable to get away.  I would have been willing to drive up to Cologne because I always like visiting new areas!  I hope where ever you all meet that you have a great time!! :)

Ok, so I think I've been able to find a place for us to go.  I will post this information here, and then I will also open up a new message with more detailed info for others who might not read this message thread.

There is a place called Midtown Family Restaurant in Norwood Young America.  The address is 123 Railroad St E, and phone number is 952-467-2721.  It is a family style restaurant and they serve breakfast.  They are open from 6a-1p on Sunday.

Would 9am work for everyone?  Post if you are planning to come.  I'm flexible on the time.  But I would prefer it not be 8am!  I'm going out to see fireworks on Saturday night.
