I rode my bike for 14 miles this morning. Despite the cool weather, there were quite a few people out walking between 5 and 6 AM.
I walked 3 miles at lunch time...down to a bike shop where I tested out a new road bike for the heck of it. The bike was fantastic, but a bit outside my budget at the moment.
I rode my bike another 14 miles tonight. My emotions have been all over the place today and sometimes pushing myself hard results in some semblance of peace of mind. I did push myself repeatedly until I could feel the lactic acid burn in my legs and I was breathing raggedly, but I didn't find any relief. At least it was a good workout. I did have a hornet land on the crotch of my bike shorts as I was riding. I suppose it would have been amusing to see me trying to bru**** off as I was pedaling, which I somehow managed to do without getting stung.
